Set of 3 rubber plates/mats made of SBR rubber, measuring 100 x 250 mm and 10 mm thick. The mats are also available in 3 mm, 5 mm, and 8 mm thicknesses in our other listings. They have a hardness of 60 +/- 5 Shore A, an approximate elongation at break of 300%, and resistance to UV, oils, and alcohol, with limited acid resistance. The temperature range is from -30C to 70C. A typically strong rubber odor, similar to that of new tires, may be present. Dimensions may vary slightly due to cutting and factory-specified strip dimensions; the thickness tolerance is +/- 1 mm. Possible applications include use in the automotive sector, such as under a jack or lifting platform; in the household, such as a stand or vibration protector for a washing machine or high-performance blender; and in the garden, such as a spacer to support straight tree growth. Rubber is a tough material. The cutting machine may create visible layers, but the material is 100% homogeneous, consisting of one mass rather than bonded layers. It is calendered in one batch and then pressed and vulcanized.
