The cut-to-size copper sheet is produced from pure copper by rolling. Copper is highly valued for its excellent durability of over 200 years and its outstanding properties. This metal has high electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as good corrosion resistance. It is not attacked by hydrochloric acid or alkalis and alloys well with many metals. The main copper alloys are brass (with zinc), bronze (with tin), and nickel silver (with zinc and nickel). The copper sheet can be easily processed. It can be polished, cut, and forged, and offers good formability and toughness. Copper sheet is used in various areas, including the manufacture of gutters and downspouts, roofing, roof drainage systems, and copper vessels.
