Shadow gap frames are an ideal solution for displaying canvas prints, canvases, and paintings already stretched on stretcher bars. The distinctive feature is the 5 mm gap between the frame and the artwork. This visually separates the artwork from the frame and creates a sense of depth that makes the artwork appear to float within the frame. The unfinished frames consist of MDF moldings wrapped in high-quality decorative finishes. The outer dimensions of the shadow gap frame are 3.5 cm larger than the selected format. Shadow gap frames are not suitable for framing photos, posters, or puzzles. This is an unfinished frame without glass or a backing. Objects deeper than 25 mm will extend beyond the edge of the frame molding. Please order the frame in the same size as the artwork or stretcher frame. The frame is automatically made 1 cm larger so that the 5 mm gap is maintained. The stretcher frame is inserted from the front, and the wooden spacers are placed between the frame and the artwork. Once the artwork is aligned, screw it to the frame from the back using the included screws. Our unfinished frames are available in various sizes to meet individual requirements. They are easy to assemble and include sturdy hangers for securely displaying your artwork.
