Made of zinc-plated carbon steel with a nylon insert, these hex lock nuts offer rust and corrosion protection. The material has high hardness, oxidation resistance, heat resistance, and durability, and is not easily deformed. The nylon insert fits tightly against the bolt threads and creates elastic deformation when the bolt is tightened, producing frictional resistance to help prevent loosening caused by vibration or other influences. To use, insert the bolt into the nut, align the threads, and tighten with a wrench.
