RISON-Titanium Grade 5 titanium round bar, material 3.7165, solid round stock for industrial, automotive, and shipbuilding applications. Diameter options range from 1 to 10 mm, with a length of 250 mm. Grade 5 titanium is composed of approximately 88.7491.0% titanium, 5.56.75% aluminum, 3.54.5% vanadium, and approximately 0.015% hydrogen. Compared with pure titanium, material 3.7165 can be hardened up to a thickness of 25 mm. It offers good hot formability and weldability, high strength and toughness at low density, and high resistance to various corrosive media, including seawater. Common applications include industrial equipment, medical technology such as surgical implants, ultrasonic technology, motor technology, aerospace components, outdoor and sporting equipment, bicycles, racing vehicles, mountaineering equipment, watches, and jewelry.
