The clamp-type ground resistance tester is microprocessor-controlled and accurately measures grounding resistance. Fast filtering technology helps minimize interference. It is designed for use in telecommunications, power supply, meteorology, machinery rooms, oil fields, electromechanical systems and their maintenance, and industrial departments that use electrical power. The loop grounding measurement function does not require the grounding wire to be disconnected or an auxiliary electrode to be used, enabling faster and safer testing. The precision clamp head has a 32 mm (1.26 in) jaw opening, a precisely wound iron core, stable and interference-resistant operation, and double-insulated large jaws. The tester provides ground resistance, circuit resistance, and leakage current testing; a real-time clock; data storage and retrieval; an alarm; automatic power-off; battery status display; overrange indication; and automatic interference detection. It stores up to 500 measurement groups, with a blinking MEM symbol indicating full memory. The MR symbol identifies data review mode, while OL indicates an overrange condition. The alarm activates when the measured value exceeds the configured alarm limit. Automatic power-off can be set to 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes, or disabled; the default setting is 5 minutes.
